| I was thinking, why the cops just shot you... why they don't do like real cops and ask you to stand and drop your weapon... there could be an jail the police can take you if you don't want to fight the police or don't want to run from them... you could take an map from the existing game and turn it into an jail, or just an cop office... so if you have money, you can pay them a bribe or your bail. or in another option escape from the jail... an quest for escaping the jail before sunrises would be amazing! hehe | |

| What would even be cooler in my opinion, is if the cops kill you, you wake up in the jail and have to pay money to leave. But where would the jails be for each hub? | |

| don't know... it's possible to get an existing map and change the textures do look like an jail and then put it in the maps and make it work with both ond and new map at same time ? | |

| I'm not sure if thats possible or not, plus when the person exited the jail they would be stepping out of a store or hotel or whatever instead which would look funny. | |

| Well a fledgling with Dominate might, I mean trance only effects one at a time and if 4 cops swarm him and beat him senseless, they may be able to haul him away. But I think the point is moot, because we won't be able to construct a suitable jail anyways. But since we're on the subject of cops, I've always thoughts the cops in Bloodlines were always a bit too powerful. They have really high defense, hitpoints, and do a shit load of ranged damage.
What do you guys think, cops too powerful? | |

| Nah, I think they are good the way they are. Maybe a bit weak.... You can use all of your disciplines on them, feed on them and.... they are just not a match for a vampire... even a fledgeling. | |

| are too powerful for a human! you need to shot them a hundred times in the head to kill... how about a headshot system, and making cops weaker? it woud be cool... if you are not some clan of combat, like gangrel, brujah etc, the cops are a real pain in the ass... there's a way to make a headshot system? | |

| Well, they are supposed to beat the crap out of you while you are in SM. You are still inexperienced and they represent the law. If they were weak no one would care if one does criminal violation or not. When you get a little more stronger, cops are the least of your problems | |

| I like cops as they are because it encourages you to stay on the "legal side" or at least "out of sight" I rarely fight with cops anyway. The head shot, if possible, would be good for those who like ranged tho | |

| After careful consideration I'm going to go ahead and leave the cops alone. I agree that the police are bit powerful at the beginning of the game but it serves to keep the character in line, and they do indeed represent the law so it makes sense. Later in the game, Hollywood and forward, the PC should be powerful enough to waste large groups of law enforcement and by the end of the game the SWAT officers are mere sheep.

| Correct me if I'm wrong, but when you get caught doing something illegal 2-3 cops spawn in addition to the original patrolling one, and if you kill a spawned cop, another appears in it's place. Normally your best bet is to simply run away. We can always add or subtract the number that are spawned, but seems pretty reasonable how it is now, in my opinion.
Again it can be changed though... | |

| If you implement a jail and you want to throw in an "escape from jail" quest, here's an idea:
You pretend you're dead (not difficult since you technically ARE dead) and you're transferred to the morgue in Santa Monica, where you're stripped of all your possessions and there's detectives around doing what they do best - eating doughnuts. | |

| And if it's possible your inventori is going to be in the case in the morgue where in the early game you find the card that opens the plase (Foxy Boxes i think) where you fight the "asian vampire". If that is possible is going to be verry interesting, but not getting out of prison 999 times when you do a crime and cop's catch you.Because there may be people that frequently do crimes and encounter policeman's. | |
