Are the changes to Stealth going to be so tough as to make Obfuscate the "must have" discipline?

Not at all, however you won't be able to slip by all the guards on the Dane with level 3 Stealth anymore. Those who truly wish to be Stealthy will need to invest some good XP into it.

OK. Last time I played CE (Gangrel), I think I had my Stealth up to 8 when I did Traffik. If I play a Clan without Obfuscate, I do pump a lot of points into Stealth. I'm not sure what it was at the time of the Dane quest, but it must have been 5 or 6 (but I did it the "easy way" in any event). Edit: That reminds me, if my magic wand worked, I'd take out the "easy way" on the Dane. Maybe you don't want to do that, though, since it's part of the main quest chain.

Which way is the "easy" way exactly? Maybe I've been missing it all this time, lol.

OMG you're so right Munster, I NEVER get to play Bloodlines anymore. The last time I actually sat down with a serious character was to play CE 1.1 back in Sept-Oct, and after I got to Chinatown I started working on CE 1.2 and abandonded the game. I had a super powerful Nosferatu too, he was a blast to play.

I finally completed the reskinning of the Male Setite set this weekend, so I've been running around using Serpentis with the new skins and hot damn do you feel like Troika actually designed this clan. Not to brag or anything, but I did a really good job getting the look and feel of The Followers of Set clan. I can't wait to post pictures!

So talking to the cop really helps eh? I better start upping my Persuasion on my characters. I normally prefer Seduction so I can feed freely instead.

Didn't you post somewhere that you only finished the game once, with a Ventrue and a katana?
